    Hello,

I am using Polylang and Visual composer.

I made a simple change in my french homepage (just changed a picture).

Result: the french page has been updated correctly, but the english page has also been updated using the french texts. Basically, all my english content has been overridden, back to french, as if WordPress thought that my french homepage = my english homepage.

Any idea on what’s going on ?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Maybe you activated synchronizations in Polylang settings?

    Hi @chouby,

No, I just checked and none of the boxes are checked for synchronizations in Polylang settings :/ But indeed, it acts as if it was enabled

    Hi,

Look for a conflict. Start from Twenty Seventeen + Polylang. Then activate your theme and your plugin one by one until you reproduce the issue. Polylang should not modify the content of other posts when synchronizations are deactivated (unless a 3rd party code asks to do it).

Ok I will do that and let you know the result
    Thanks

It seems that the problem came from “Lingotek Translation” plugin, I disabled it and the error didn’t happen again
