Second-most-recent post in sidebar

  • Hello,

    I am using wordpress 1.5.2 at marsiam.themooches.com

    Recently (past month or so) the problem occurred where:

    the most recent post appears at the top
    the second-most-recent post appears in the sidebar

    the following posts are below the first post, but the margins are crazy

    the sidebar content is at the bottom

    I have tried un-publishing (saving as draft) all of the posts with images, but this does not resolve the problem. I have tried adjusting the sidebar content, and this does not resolve the problem either. I have tried un-publishing the second-most-recent post, but then the post before that appears in the sidebar.
