Second step fails

  • Hi,

    so with the previous versions I’ve never had any troubles with the installation.
    Now when I try to install WordPress, the second step after I filled in all the information needed, seems to fail.

    An empty screen (where a confirmation message should pop up) is the result. When I try to login it says my username doesnt exist or my combination is not correct. So when I check my users table in the database, it seems to be empty?

    How can I fix this so my installation will be smooth as how it always was?

    That would mean that PHP is crashing.

    Would you please ask your hosting provider what version of PHP is installed on your server, and to double-check the configuration?
