Section block: background image as responsive img tag (improvement)

  • Improvement: in getwid-section block, background image is treated as css background-image, using the original format.
    It would be much better if it was a responsive img tag, with object-fit=”cover” and srcset, as already happens in getwid-banner block. This would prevent huge image downloads on small devices.

    I just want to inform you that we keep in mind this improvement suggestion and consider its implementation in one of the future plugin releases if we collect more similar ones from other customers or our developers run out of priority tasks. Thank you.
