Secure login

I’d like my login page to be secure.

I don’t want my whole blog secure, because when I comment on other blogs they don’t like https: links and I have to use http: and then visitors may get the warning about a mix of secure and insecure items.

So I just want the page where visitors log in to be behind an https: link, so when people log in their name and password are secure.

Unfortunately, I can’t see an easy way to do this. Is there one? I’d rather not hack my install, but if that’s my only option, c’est la vie.
