• I would like to have my customers log-in to the front-end of my site and get access to a customer-specific page. They would be the only one who could see THEIR page. This page would be a list of customer-specific downloadable documents managed with the WP Publication Archive plugin (unless, of course, you know of something better).

It appears that the membership plugins I have seen allow access to secured pages/posts to all logged in users. Is there anything that would allow access to different pages/posts based on specific userids?

    Thank you,
    David

  • You can install Role Editor plugin and create your own roles and assign what each role can do.

Thanks govpatel, I think I need to clarify. I don’t want them logging in to the admin area. They need to login to a front-end page. They would login to a page on the public site to access another protected, customer-specific page.

hi, next version will have this option. front-end login form for members only downloads.

If Shahnur Alam you mean the next version of Role Editor will allow this I just checked and it doesn’t seem to (unless I’m missing something).

djhomich i’d love to know if you found a solution as I’m needing exactly the saem functionality.
