Securi Plugin Blocking WordPress admin login

    I noted that I was unable to login to my wordpress admin section. Every time I tried and after entering the username and password, I would get the following information after some time “Gateway Time-out The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.” I had to get assistance from my host to login and disable all the plugins. I have activated plugins one by one and confirmed that the problem was from Securi Security plugin.

    What could be the problem?

  • Marking as resolved; if anyone else is interested in the answer, this was related to some issues that we were having with one of our providers, there were constant problems with the connections and it forced the API service to break most if not all the functionality, the timeouts were one of the multiple symptom of these issues; we end up changing the provider and adding more nodes in our network so this will not happen again.
