    My developers are concerned about the security of using external plugins, so won’t allow it to be used. Is there any information available for this for the Call Now plugin

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for your message! I’m no security expert, but I don’t think there’s much of a security threat when using this plugin as it doesn’t take any visitor input. With the exception of the admin panel, the plugin doesn’t use any JS and there’s no visitor facing JS. The settings of the plugin are all stored in the WordPress options table and updates are all stored in the WP database through the WordPress API. So no hacky workarounds, etc. I’d say there’s nothing to worry about. I’d be interested in hearing your developer’s feedback if they have any concerns.
