My hosts have performed a security check on my hosting, and recently is has alerted us to this:

WARNING ] Detected ‘WordPress’ version of ‘4.6.1’ does not match the current listed stable version of ‘4.4.2’. Consider updating.
    HIT (EvalReq) (4) ] e:\domains\…\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\attach_to_post\package.module.attach_to_post.php

Any ideas what is causing this error to appear? I have 24 hours to attempt to resolve this!!!

    Thanks in advance.

@ufpst – WordPress 4.6.1 _IS_ the current stable release of WordPress. I would suggest enlightening your web hosting service regarding that.

As to the NextGEN Gallery reference, there is not enough details there for us to respond to and the more serious issue of outdated checks by your hosting service would most likely need to be addressed first all the same.

Also to note, this is not strictly a “security” issue with NextGEN Gallery as is.

    Thanks!
