Security and Site Performance

  • Hi, if you had to list WP Security features according to their impact on page speed (response time), what would be the top 3 or 4 on the list?

    Hi, as far as I know all features work well. I use many different combinations in different websites and to my knowledge none are affected by page speed. Are you currently experiencing some sort of page speed issue in your site?

    I was having some server issues, not related to the plugin. While I was tracking down the issue I got to thinking kind of generally about whether there may be certain features that are more expensive than others.

    I know what you mean.

    There are many factors to my knowledge that play a part in this. For example, the type of server your site is hosted in, the type of host account your site is set up with, the server specs etc etc.

    As you can see there are many areas one could check to see why a site might be slow.
