We identified hacking on our website where malware where injected on the website when Maintenance was active.

WordPress was already updated to the latest version… and few other plugins installed.

Has someone else experienced the same?

That’s not a helpful ask. You’re inviting people to opine here if they’ve been hacked and may have also had this plugin. And 10 other plugins. Don’t take a poll here, please focus on your issue instead. That’s how these forums work.

This plugin does not offer to protect your site and while you did get hacked, nothing you’ve posted would indicate it was this plugin.

If you’ve not yet done so give this a good read.

When you have successfully deloused your site then consider giving this a read too.

I understand… it was friendly meant… so you don’t know of any security breaches in your plugin? Not anything you are going to address in any new updates soon?

We are not aware of any security issues with the plugin nor have we had any such reports in a long time. Due to the number of sites using the plugin (+600,000), it’s often checked by 3rd parties for security issues.

Although no code is 100% secure, I’m 99.9999% sure your site can’t get hacked because you’re using this plugin.
