Hi, I am getting an error: “Your site does not support SSL.” while trying to run “Security Check Pro”.
I recheck with my hosting provider (Hostinger) and the SSL installed for sure. Do you know what I am doing wrong?

Hi @danielalogoncom, great to see you!

Can you check if there is an issue with the SSL certificate, like a name mismatch, using this tool

If there are no issues, can you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies and run the Security Check Pro tool again to check if it returns the same error?

If it does, please try to reinforce the SSL via Hostinger and see if that helps relay the SSL status to Solid Security. I’d also recommend double-checking with your host/developer that there aren’t any mixed/insecure content/links on the website.

Let us know what you can find.

Hi @shanedelierrr, thanks for getting back to me.

    • The tool showed that “The certificate should be trusted by all major web browsers (all the correct intermediate certificates are installed)”.
    • I try to clear cache / open it on incognito.
    • Hostinger reinforce the ssl.
    • The website is totaly new, no links yet.

    Still getting the same error…

    Hi @danielalogoncom,

I’m really sorry for the slow turnaround here, as our team have been busy these past few months.

Are you still getting the same error when running “Security Check Pro”? If so, we think that your server isn’t configured correctly and is doing SSL termination.

Solid Security reports back is_ssl when the SSL Proxy Detect service makes the call to the site. Usually this means $_SERVER['HTTPS'] isn’t being set properly.

Can you please confirm this with your host?

    Thank you!
