    Hi homerecords,

That warning indicates that some code in the plugin is unable to run due to the environment settings of your hosting service. There is no specific security issue being flagged in this case; your host is preemptively disabling a mechanism that can sometimes be exploited for malicious purposes when it is used carelessly in well-intentioned code. That risk is not present in the way we use it, so it’s something you might ask your host about. They may be able to change your settings or offer you a different level of service.

It looks like the particular line of code that triggers the warning, placester/third-party/mixpanel/mixpanel.php, can be commented out or removed without impacting the functionality of the plugin. So if you know how to go about doing something like that, you might give it a try. However, there may be other things in our code that trigger similar warnings for you. We have been made aware that some hosts block WordPress plugins from making their own calls over the internet, and that is something the Placester plugin needs to do to access property listing data when serving up web pages.

Thanks a lot. That puts me on the right track.
Actually my host has indeed disabled several features for security reasons recently.
