We have a secure site with an SSL certificate. The entire site is fine, except for the Calendar page, which throws an error:

    SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

Any idea as to what might be happening here?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @jgold723, thanks for reaching out!

It looks like the entire site is being affected by this error. When I try to land on the main domain, the same error is present.

Here’s some info that can help you out > https://cheapsslsecurity.com/blog/how-to-fix-err_ssl_version_or_cipher_mismatch-error/

    Take care,

    Hi Ed:

We seem to be completely stuck here. At our end, only the Events page generates the error. Our hosting company (MediaTemple) says the site looks fine on their end. And you say the entire site is affected. If I had any hair left, I’d be pulling it out.

We ran the site through the SSL checker you referenced and it came back OK.

While I think this is a hosting/cert issue, I need to try everything possible to resolve it. Is there anything I can do with The Events calendar to fix this? The plugin is up to date and so is our WordPress install.

    Hi @jgold723,

I checked your page now and all was green in terms of SSL. It looks like your issue is solved so I’m going to mark this as resolved.

If the issue is still there, post us a reply.

    Cheers and happy holidays,
    Andras
