Security error message appears when browsing from re-directed URL
-
Our client had a Wix site which was at https://www.dreambeds.nz
That URL was registered with Wix too.
They then realised the horrendous mistake that it is to create a site in Wix (couldn’t resist throwing that in, sorry). We created a new (WordPress) site for them at the URL they intend to use as their primary one from here on: https://dreambeds.co.nz
Hosting is with GoDaddy
We then added A Record on dreambeds.nz to point to the WordPress site / GoDaddy IP address.
We then set up SSL certificate on https://dreambeds.co.nz
The problem is that when someone browses directly to dreambeds.nz or finds that URL in search results they see:
Safari can’t open the page “https://www.dreambeds.nz” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “www.dreambeds.nz”
I’m puzzled as to the cause of this issue and would appreciate any guidance / assistance.
Thanks in advance (and for the excellent plug-in too).
