Security error when uploading jpeg image using new macbook

    Hi there, I just got a new macbook and edited am image using PS Elements 9. I just tried uploading the image which is save as a jpeg. but I keep getting the following message
    “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons” I normally upload images via my PC desktop or my android smart phone and have never gotten this error before. I would greatly appreciate any help..
