We have both Spam and Security running on a number of websites, and in the last couple of weeks are finding that we (and clients worldwide) are getting automatically blacklisted far too often, to the point that we have entirely disabled the plugins on a couple of sites as they made them unusable.

For ourselves, we use VPNs, and those could be from various locations, but even when it’s not running we still encounter the same issues … what can we do to resolve this? What are the “best” settings?

    Hello @cmykbkk

Unfortunately, the best way to avoid such blockings is to disable VPN, because the IPS of VPN are often used by spammers and the same IP can be used by both the spammer and the user.

Anyway, please contact us via our private support system. In this way we could analyze your logs and tell you exact reason for the blockings:

    Thank you.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

Sorry, we had replied to the email but it obviously didn’t work as it didn’t appear here.

We have to use VPN’s, as do many of our clients, so disabling them is not an option. In the short term we have disabled the firewall entirely, as whitelisting IPs didn’t let the clients in either.

Have opened a support ticket also, thank you.

Fine. Let’s continue the conversation in the ticket system.
    Be well,
