• Hi,
I think something causes security issues in wordpress.
You know that all the usernames and passwords are saved in the database and it is accessible in phpmyadmin.
Don’t you think that bad host company employees may go there and change admin and other users’ passwords very easily and hack the site.
I am sure that many people has been hacked with this trick by the host company employees.

This is not something that’s limited to WordPress, and your hosting provider doesn’t need phpMyAdmin to access your database. As server administrators, they have access to everything (yes, everything).

As part of contracting them for hosting, there is some level of trust that they won’t abuse that power, there’s no way of getting around that.

Choose a hosting provider with a good reputation. We have some recommendations at https://www.ads-software.com/hosting/
