    Last week Thursday, 11.01.24, we noticed an unauthorized admin registration with username wpx and email address We were immediately on alert, deleted the user, changed all passwords and updated all plugins that were available at the time. We always keep the system up-to-date. However, the new user’s registrations continued. During this time, after the updates, we noticed that the pop-up of your plugin was causing a display error, so we deactivated it for the time being because we had other problems at the time. After installing new security software, we had already deactivated your plugin, and changing the database password, the registry attempts stopped. We assumed that the security measures were the cause. The pop-up was reactivated a week later, i.e. 1 day ago, in order to fix the display error. Today we started again with the user registrations of wpx. We immediately made a connection and deactivated your plugin again, and the registrations from wpx have been missing since then. We have now decided on a different solution.
    But Please check whether it was actually your plugin that alerted us here. Thank you.

  • We had the same issue. Admin USer was created and MAlware Code was inserted into the “Custom JS” Field in one PopUp.

    Thanks. I found an explanation of the problem with that PlugIn on Sucuri Blog. The Issue is known, but Pop Up Builder do not fix that anymore.
