    today the third time i got spam via my booking form into events manager!

    the spammers fillt in all the fields with seeming real german data, but in the commentary field the put their waste ??

    i wonder, cause i have a function in my form thats gives me the ip-adress of the customer and there it says me total weird stuff instead an ip-adress…

    how could that happen?

    yes, i use the solution above to log the ip-address.
    today in morning therefrom came – really! – only nonsense.
    no idea, how they did…

    i dont want to have a captcha on the site, better improving the form!

    The IP does not show on your booking form, so you did alter the snippet ??

    reCaptcha is the most ideal way to secure any form. The form is already great. As a very happy EM User, I personally see no need to “improve” something that already has a more than decent solution. ??
    Just my opinion.

    Also, you know of course the exact time the spam was submitted. So you could simply look at your servers log files to obtain the true IP and block it through .htaccess for example.
