• I am trying to resolve a problem that many others may have but I can’t seem to find anything in the forums. My website:historicphilippines.com is heavy on written text and photos. I’m trying to find a plug-in that would prevent people from copying the written materials and photos at all or alternatively only when I give them my express permission. Is there such a plug-in available? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

  • Short answer: you can’t.

If you do not want people copying your content, don’t publish it on the web.

Well im not aware of any such plugins in word press but if you are quite familiar with php i can guide you through couple of such scripts to protect you photos n content..

The point is: if you can display photos and content on the Internet then it’s out there and can’t be protected.

You could (pointlessly irritate and punish your viewers) attempt it but those methods just don’t work. Honestly. ??

As Esmi said, If you really want to protect them, don’t put them online.

    ok fine..
