Security plugin and WPPA

    Hi
    Recently our website or host was hacked, we were advised by our hosting service to install a security plugin. We installed but found that it created several problems one of which was that WPPA+ got deactivated (is that possible?) We removed the security plugin. Can anyone recommend a security plugin that is compatable with WPPA+?
