Per my hosting provider (InMotion), they posted this recommendation: “Protect User Input Fields. Limit characters and disable special characters in your customer forms to prevent code injection.” Should I be worried, or is this a non-issue with this plugin?

    Hi @dave8441,

Thanks for sharing your hosting provider’s recommendation!

Out of curiosity, did they specify if this advice is related to a particular type of attack or past issue they’ve noticed on your site?

WPForms Lite includes built-in measures to help secure your forms against code injection and other common threats. While the plugin does not automatically limit characters or disable special characters in the Lite version, it already sanitizes and validates input fields to ensure safe data handling.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi @amjadali688,

No, they did not specify. I saw it in a newsletter they send to all of their customers. Anyway, it’s good to know this plugin does have security measures in place. Thank you.
