Love your plugin. It has worked very well. However my web host sends warning emails about security risk after I perform backups.

They email warning says they have quarantined the threat.

The problem file looks like a database file:
    “‘[Hacker Sig Exploit [P1899]]’: /home/hostname/public_html/website/wp-content/plugins/backup-backup/includes/htaccess/db_tables/wpko_wfhits.sql

Do you have any ideas why the web host flags this process?

Thank you for your wonderful plugin.

    Hi @ms416

It may be possible that your web host mark all files with .sql ending as potential security threat.

Nevertheless that directory is protected by our plugin. But more important part is that these files are removed right after backup. They’re required to make complete backup, otherwise you may struggle to restore the database properly later.

I would recommend you to whitelist that directory if it’s possible for you in the host dashboard.

Also, feel free to click on these two buttons: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
They will clean and remove all temporary files of backup & restoration process, including the one you provided as example.

Let me know if you could resolve the issue ??
    Thank you!

Thank you. I am no longer concerned. Whether your app or my host removes it (as they claim to do in that message) I trust it’s a normal part of the process.

    You can mark resolved.
