Security Threat?

  • Was developing locally and wanted to test this plugin out. Upon downloading Microsoft Security Essentials detected it found a virus (optipng.exe) and listed it as a password stealer.

    Threat detected: PWS:Win32/Lineage.gen!C.dam
    Alert level: Severe
    Date: 11/10/2019
    Category: Password Stealer
    Details: This program is dangerous and captures user passwords.

    Affected items:

    Is this a false positive? Any insight would be helpful.
