SeedProd Plug-in easily bypassed with simple HTTP

    When using the SeedProd plugin to set maintenance mode, it works flawlessly when accessed via a HTTPS link. When using a simple HTTP link, the site is fully visible. Is this normal? If not, how to avoid?

  • @daboo2u2 Make sure to match it with the Site/Home URL that can be found via WordPress > General. If the website redirects to HTTPS make sure you set on your WordPress Site/Home is HTTPS. If not matched, the tendency image will not work.

    Thanks @pmakabenta. I think that helped. I think also SeedProd allows me exclusively to see the front end in the default browser as I’m the admin and logged in. In other browsers the Maintenance Mode page shows up whether using HTTP, HTTPS, nothing at all or with or without www as a prefix. Thumbs up!
