Seeing pages even though only posts selected

Using the following shortcode it is displaying the right category, but it’s pulling through pages not posts, any ideas what might be wrong?
[catlist name="Class Meetings" post_type="post" numberposts="6" no_posts_text="No news at the moment, sorry!"]
