• Greetings,
Over the past couple months I have rebuilt my old travel blog using wordpress for the very first time.

I think it’s getting there, but I’m sure it still has a fair bit of work to be done to it.

I’m just here looking for constructive criticism – things to help me improve usability, navigation, and overall layout, and appearance.

This is the site: Where Sidewalks End

Thank you very much for your time and input. It’s very much appreciated ??
    Cheers
    Ian

  • The website looks very interesting indeed. I noticed there are blank spaces near to the bottom of the page, i’m not sure if it is intentional?

A better graphical banner could be an upgrade. I think the bottom is blank due to the lack of footer widgets.

Thanks @frenchtoaster – I’m still trying to work out the layout for the home page, and it’s widgets (probably the most important page).. I appreciate you commenting on that. It’s not so much intentional, as it is short on ideas.

Thanks as well @teckn1cality. You’re right.. lack of footer widgets is the issue.. need to figure out what works best for those, in terms of organizing it… Now, when you say “Better graphical banner” – could you be more specific to what you mean by “better”? much appreciated
