    Hello TranslatePress Community! ??

I’m reaching out to inquire about streamlining the translation process for new content. Here’s the challenge I’m facing: Every time I publish an article, I need to manually open the translation editor for each language to initiate the translation process. Considering that I frequently publish new articles and my site supports translations into 10 different languages, this method becomes quite time-consuming. ??

Is there a way to automate or batch process these translations, so that new articles are automatically translated into all the supported languages without opening each page individually? Such a feature would be incredibly helpful in managing time and ensuring consistency across the site’s multilingual content.

Thank you so much for your time and assistance. Any guidance or tips you could provide would be greatly appreciated! ??

    Warm regards,

  • Hello,

At this moment, TranslatePress does not have an automatic feature for initiating the translation process for new articles. I understand how this might be time-consuming given your workflow and the number of languages your site supports.

But, I think even the current flow that it should address your concerns:
Whenever a page is loaded for the first time (either by a regular user or by a webcrawler), TranslatePress will automatically translate the content and serve it. After the first time, the translated page will be saved in the database and served directly without having to undergo the translation process again if you are activating the Automatic Translation feature.

This method means that you don’t need to manually initiate the translation process for each new article; just having a page visited once will trigger the automatic translation. This approach should help improve efficiency in your particular usecase.

I hope this alternative will assist you in effectively managing your multilingual content.

If you have any more questions or need further clarifications, please feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
