Seems abandoned but still useful

I’m using this plugin to get the current title and date into the post. It’s so far the only solution I’ve found with only using free versions of everything. By the looks on the support forum and reviews, the plugin is not actively maintained.
One thing I’m missing is an option to insert the header image into a text widget so it can be in the column of the text instead of above it.
