  • Same error here! Using WP v 4.3.1. I cannot save a new slider, and the error appears in the frontend. Help!

    hey im still getting an error even in the latest edition:

    Fatal error: Class ‘ZipArchive’ not found in /home/tomorr12/public_html/folchurch.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/cyclone-slider-2/cyclone-slider.php on line 403

    This came about at the weekend (about 12th October)
    any updates planned? thanks for a great plugin though.

    I too am getting the same error on every update of this plugin. There is a thread in the support forum on how to temporary fix this issue. My error is the same:

    Fatal error: Class ‘ZipArchive’ not found in /kunden/*address removed*/wp-content/plugins/cyclone-slider-2/cyclone-slider.php on line 403

    Here is the fix from the other thread:

    For a quick fix, comment out line 403 In cyclone-slider.php as below:

    function cycloneslider_service_zip_archive( $plugin ){
    // return new ZipArchive;
    }

    that is awesome, thanks a lot!
    so weird, i didnt change anything and it stopped working, that seems quite a strange work around but it works! thanks again
