• Repeated attempts to paste a snippet of css into the plugin resulted in a fatal error upon attempting to activate:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’

    (with the ‘.’ in question being the first character of code I entered)

    Eventually, at wit’s end, I installed another css plugin, pasted in the identical code (validated at the w3c site) and bingo! it worked.

    Code in question was to adjust width of bbpress forum in WP Twenty Fourteen Theme; also working with BuddyPress; newest versions of everything)

    I’m working on ensuring the plugin works well with 4.3 there were some changes in this version that affect Simple Custom CSS, and I hope to have this updated within the next week or so.

    hey, good news! I will switch back next time I do site maintenance, if the other author fails to update–yours was working great for me….

    The plugin does not work anymore…
