Hi, out of the blue it states on the admin: Your customers cannot use Stripe on checkout, because we couldn’t connect to your account. Please go to your settings and, set your Stripe account keys. On the stripe account details on woo it states: Account details states eems like the live keys we’ve saved for you are no longer valid. If you recently updated them, enter the new live keys from your Stripe Account(opens in a new tab). I am trying to generate a new key + roll the key but it won’t let me save / test the connection. They have been working fine for years so I do not know what to do?

  • I’m also receiving this error as well.

Do you know what your hosting environment is?

We’ve been seeing similar that appears to only be on RHEL/CentOS 7 servers after the latest ca-certificates update.

    Ours is nginx/1.25.2

I was thinking the Operating System rather than the web server application

    Hello @amnosandwich,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I’m not able to replicate this, so I’m guessing it’s a result of a conflict. Have you tried to disable all plugins and switch to the default Storefront theme?

Make sure to paste the keys without any formatting whatsoever. if you’re on MacOS, use CMD + Shift + V to paste the text only.

Could you also attach a copy of your site’s System Status report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

I understand you have the same problem but we need to handle each request individually in forums. :?)

Please open your own thread and make sure to include the following:

    • Your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.
    • Some screenshots that describe the issue.
    • It’s also worth checking if there are any fatal error logs from WooCommerce > Status > Logs and choosing from the drop-down menu the fatal-errors.log option.

    Thank you!
