Hi – I ran the Media Cleaner on my website but it found a lot of files that are actually in use. One example is this page, where there’s only one version of these photos in the WP Media Library but the Media Cleaner said they seemed not in use. Can you help?

PS. I enabled the trash bin option and ran a backup of my website before making any changes, so haven’t lost any data. I just would like the plugin to identify files not in use so I don’t have to manually review all of them. Thanks!

    Hi @ekettler,

What are the plugins or pagebuilders you are using to insert/manage images on this specific page?

Also, in the Cleaner Dashboard, you have no warnings about plugins or pagebuilders not being handled by the free version?

    Hi Jordy,
I’m using the Divi page builder and simply uploading images from my computer to the Media Library. In the Media Cleaner Dashboard, I see a notice saying “Divi – They require additional checks which are only implemented in Media Cleaner Pro.” Is that what you mean??The phrase “additional checks” isn’t very clear.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Eva,

Page builders require a lot of more development on my side, and I am constantly doing my best to keep up with their changes and new features. Indeed, there is much more code to handle those use cases, which is why it’s part of the Pro (otherwise I wouldn’t be able to maintain such a complex plugin). That’s basically what it means ??

I don’t know how to phrase it better (I am not a English-native speaker) but if you have suggestions, I am interested.

    I hope it helps.
