Seems stuck now

As described in the tooltip on the “?”-icon on the comments progress, the total count for comments can be imprecise because emptied comments can’t be imported, so, also if 28 comments remains non imported it can be ok.

Now, as described in the FAQ page, one of the reason for which the alert can appear is the refresh of the import page. This occurs because, despite the refresh, the importer is still active, and you must wait the process finish.

I suggest to launch the importer and ignore the message for at least 10-15 minutes and see if the counter for images increases.

Anyway, I’ll work to improve the feedback given by the alert.

I got stuck when 230 posts out of 261 post was imported. The images too was still not yet imported. I have waited for more than 8hours yet no progress. It keeps saying “The importer has stopped unexpectedly!” over and over again.
Please way out. Thank you.

I can try to investigate your situation if you can give me 2 informations stored in the database (the import status and your API key), you can find them using this query:

???? SELECT * FROM wp_options WHERE option_name LIKE ‘bie_%’;

???? (your wp_options table can have a different prefix)

Are you Able to do this query in the database?
If you can, please, send me These informations by private email.

Hi: I’m stuck too, when I try import the images. I can only import 4 images and the plugin stuck again and again.

I’m having the same problem. I’m getting the folllowing error that just seems to loop after each countdown.

I have the same problem. After importing the posts appears to me the message:

I’m having this same issue. I got to 200 images, and it froze. In addition, I’m also running into posts that have a picture, name, and tags, but no content

This plugin is based off the “Blogger Import” plugin. I used the instructions here – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-skip-importing-images-links?replies=6 to “Skip Importing Images” so the entire site would migrate and skip the images. Once it pulled over everything. I then used the Import External Images plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/import-external-images/ to pull over all the images. It worked great. Once that was all done, I then added the Blogger redirect. Maybe this workaround will help you guys.

I think if the plugin developer can move the function of importing images to the last thing that get’s imported – this would make the migration of all the other content a little easier. This way if you get stuck on the images, you don’t have to start over… and you can use the other plugin do finish grabbing all the images.
