• Hello Guys,

    In working on a clients project, I see the plugin seemly blocks some approved REST API calls inside WooCommerce. We did not see a way to allow an action and/or a log that shows the attempt or a way to whitelist the attempt as we don’t see it inside your software.

    So we where forced to sadly just disable the plugin and then all was well, the API calls now work, which is not ideal to just disable the plugin, but we needed a workaround to allow the site to communicate through the REST API or certain things just do not work.

    Fast forward we tried the same with WP Hide & Security Enhancer and did not have the same errors.

    Do you not have some log control that shows the attempts, we could not find it, the other end of the API call just shows “access denied”, a generic error. We feel we have proved this is in fact your plugin as it didn’t just happen with one API, but any API had the same results, until we disabled the plugin and then switched to WP Hide & Security Enhancer.

    Can you kindly advise on the best way to handle this in the future for the client, we would love to use the plugin again, but not if we have no way to know what is being blocked and what is not?

    Seemly to be missing something or we have yet to find the setting?

    Hi Neiko,

    Please to try to download the latest premium version of Hide My WP Ghost (not the free version), and DON’T disable the REST API in Hide My WP > Change Paths > API Security.

    Also, we just added the option to whitelist IPs that pass security under Hide My WP > Change Paths > Level of Security.
