Seems to work only about 50% of the time in iOS

I’m not sure what what causes this issue, but when I click on the menu icon, about 50% of the time nothing happens. The other 50% of the time it works great. My client on his iPhone has the same issue, so it’s not just my device. Any idea what the issue could be?
