The plugin ‘wps-hide-login’ is causing segmentation faults, which was causing a buildup of idle PHP processes. We disabled the plugin has been disabled, and this corrected the issue. We were using Version 1.9.16.3, and we updated to Version 1.9.16.5.

    We have the following environment:
    WordPress Version: 6.5.5
    LearnDash LMS Version 4.11.0
    BuddyBoss Platform Version 2.6.30
    WooCommerce Version 9.0.1

Our hosting service, Nexcess, suggests that there is incompabtility between this version of WordPress and Wps-Hide-Login.

We upgraded to 1.9.16.6, and when reactivating the plug-in we got a critical error.

Can you send me the PHP fatal error?

The errors originally started Monday, causing the website to go down. I contact my hosting service, and they wrote the folowing:

After reviewing the environment logs, this appears to have been caused by a buildup of idle PHP processes. Restarting the PHP service corrected this and I was unable to find anything within the environment that indicates a larger issue.

The error persisted, so they later wrote:

Thanks for the update, this was due to the plugin ‘wps-hide-login’ causing segmentation faults, which likely was the source of the previous issue as well. This plugin has been disabled, please reach out to the publisher or find an alternative as this instance is not compatible with your current WordPress configuration.

I updated the plug-in as you said, but then started experiencing other issues with other plug-ins. I have now disabled wps-hide-login, and will try to reactivate the other plug-ins; LearnDash and BuddyBoss theme. I however, do not have access to the PHP error message.
