Select default value not appearing

    I have a How did you hear about us Select menu at checkout. It should be displaying a default value of Select One —> but instead it’s displaying the first option in my list. How can I correct this?

    Inorder to achieve your requirement, you need to make the first option blank and provide placeholder text as shown in the below screen-shot:

    The Option Value is used to store values in the database and Option Text is used to display the details in the drop-down. Please note that the option value should be unique.

    The placeholder isn’t showing up for me, I just get the blank line.
