select different email addresses?

Hello there, I wanted to have the users be able to select an email address from a drop down to whom they would want to send the form to.
i am calling the field “sendto”
When i put in the “To:” field “[sendto]” it does not work.
Do you have any suggestions on how to go about doing this??
