Select Featured Image Upload Error

  • I write for a website (www.smartmeters.com) and the owner of the site just switched over to WordPress. I am not the administrator but I have been given access to add posts. The text end is fine. However, when I try to set the featured image, it starts to upload but right before the end an error message appears and it tells me to try again later. Doesn’t matter what size the image. I have tried on Firefox, Google Chrome, and IE; I have rebooted; I have also tried on a different computer that uses XP (I use Windows 7)– all with the same error result. Is there anything I can do or will the administrator have to address the issue?

  • Hey there.

    If you tried other browsers, images, etc, then I think the admin will need to look at this as he will need to debug the issue, like does it work for him, could it be a theme or plugin conflict, was anything added code wise that is custom from the norm, that kind of thing. The admin would also be able to check any error_log.
