Select field first option blank?

    hello ! I would like to know if there is a way to make the first or default option in a select field blank. So every time a customer needs to fill the form it has to select a value.

    Inorder to achieve your requirement, you need to keep the first option in the select field as blank.

    Great. But if a value is mandatory blank will not be valid isn’t?

    The blank option won’t take as a value. Unless the customer selects an option he won’t be able to place the order. It will show a required field error.
