select items before and then compare

Hello,
i am searching for a comparison table plugin, that allowes users to select two items from a list or whatsoever and compare them.

Example:
There is a product with a long history of versions. Interrested costumers want do know the difference between each version.
This is not problem with a typical comparison plugin like tablepress.

To list them all on a single page will make it hard to read, therefore i am searching for a solution that ask costumer what he would like to compare and then it gives the result.

Like “you have” (please select”) “you want” (please select) -> enter-> comparison of two items

can anybody give me a hint ?
