I am unable to add a demo file using this plugin.

Reading another support thread – am I right in thinking that this only works with downloadable products?

I am selling audiobooks and I use a service to deliver them, so all my audiobooks are virtual products. But I want to add a sample so people can hear part of the audiobook before purchasing. How do I get this to work?

    Hello @littleblogger

Thank you very much for using our plugin. The free plugin version requires the products be configured as downloadable products. It uses their files for selling with the music players in the public website.

The commercial version allows you to use the players with downloadable and tangible products. Also, you can upload files specifically for demos. Furthermore, with the commercial version of the plugin you can configure the player to generate audio files for demos as truncated versions of the audio files for selling to protect them against unauthorized downloads.

    Best regards.

Thank you for replying quickly and for clarifying.

Unfortunately, I am only prepared to make a certain level of loss on my store, so paid plugins are out of reach.

    I am investigating alternative solutions.
