Select post category by author?

  • Hello. First off, I’ve been experimenting with your plugin and am really impressed with the capabilities and functionality it has. Nice work!

    Second, I’m wondering if there’s any way to make frontend posts be assigned to a specific category, determined by the author?

    The Author Category plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/author-category/) works great for assigning each user a specific category, but it only works when posting from the admin side (post-new.php). When posting through the WP User Frontend form this is overridden and new posts are set to the default category assigned by the plugin.

    Any ideas or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
