Select Template Error

  • I have just upgraded to Email Subscribers version 4.02.
    When I go into an existing campaign or create a new campaign, there are two issues:
    a. Under the Select Template drop down there is no template to select even though I have templates.

    b. Under the Select Post Category there are no post categories to select.

    Before I upgraded in an existing campaign I could see a list of post categories. But I could not make any changes to the campaign because the select template issue was the same as described above.

    However when I posted a new article the email post notification would go out to subscribers.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the inconvenience you had.

    We have fixed template related issue in ES 4.0.2. So, we are wondering why it’s occur to you as you are already using 4.0.2.

    Can you please check whether “Run the updater” button is available in Email Subscribers > Audience dashboard?

    If yes, please click on it and check once again and let us know how it goes.

    There is no “Run the updater” button. There was originally and I had run it hoping to solve this problem.

    Interesting however, when I went to just checked it out, the ability to choose categories is now there.

    Actually, I just realized I had went back to older version, after the template problem. So I just now did the upgrade again and same symptoms as originally posted:
    no dropdown option for templates and no option to choose categories.
