“Selected option” not Working as Expected

    Hello,

    when I define a “Selected option” for a select field this is selected on initial page load as expected.

    But if this select field is only shown conditionally (like after an entry was selected from another select field), the select field appears based on the defined condition, but the “Selected option” is ignored and the select field is shown unselected.

    The expectation would be though that also in the case of a select field being shown conditionally, the “Selected option” is pre-selected.

    Is that a known bug or do I miss an option I should enable to accomplish the expected result?

    first thanks for your quick reply which is appreciated!

    I saw that after your post there were a few minor updates to the PPOM plug-in and the changelog description sounded like it might contain a fix for this, but I just tested with version 33.0.10 and it is still broken.

    Can you confirm if you would expect this to be fixed with the latest 33.0.10 version or your development team is still working on a fix for that?

    I see that this issue got marked as “Resolved” here which is great to see!

    The reported issue was logged internally and it hasn’t been scheduled for a fix just yet. The issues are priortizied based on their overall impact, so we can’t provide an exact timeline at the moment.

    We recommend keeping an eye on the plugin’s changelog for updates — any fix will be noted there as soon as it’s released.

    it is a bit strange/annoying then that this issue here is constantly marked as “resolved”, while this bug apparently is not resolved yet…

    This bug is rather critical for us. If you tell me that it get fixed short-term if we subscribed to your paid service, we would even consider that!
