Selected Shipping Method Automatically Disappearing!

Hi,
I have applied three shipping methods and they appear on the checkout page at the bottom of checkout form. These are –
- Ship within the UK
- Ship within Europe, and
- Ship to Rest of the World
The problem is – if a user has filled the checkout form (Billing address, shipping address, etc.) and selected any one shipping method and when he clicks on proceed to payment page, if he has validation errors, the page is refreshed and error messages are displayed.
At this time the first selected shipping method disappears! This is quite strange as the user is yet to submit the form and simply correcting the validation errors! He is now not able to select that shipping method. This should not happen. A user should any time be able to select any shipping method even though a page is refreshed for validation errors.
How to solve it? Can anyone please help? I really appreciate your time and help!
