Selecting a date range

When selecting a date range on the calendar you have to click each day on the calendar individually – this makes it frustrating for long bookings like several weeks (or even months). Is there a better way to select date ranges that can be enabled via config or something? I’m thinking click the first day and the last day and have all the days in between added to the booking automatically.
