Selecting a page template for new pages

  • I can’t seem to find where I can select the page template when creating a new page. I have a few in my themes folder, and I see them in the theme editor.

    I’ve tried reverting to the default theme and back and still don’t see it. Am I missing something?

    So I tried activating the default theme again, and I finally saw the template selector. I go back to my theme and it’s gone again. How can I make sure it’s always there?

    the page template has to be in the theme directory. You cannot select a page template that is in another theme directory.
